Become a Starvard professor.

You do not need a university job to teach here. If you can teach a subject well and you are willing to record a video or two, you can be a professor at Starvard, and your students are already here, learning in 16 languages.

1

Pick your subject

Anything you know cold: cooking, coding, history, guitar, plumbing, photography, math, a language, a trade. If people ask you to explain it, you can teach it.

2

Record a lesson

A phone camera is fine. Clear beats fancy: teach one idea well, like you are explaining it to a smart friend. Start with one video, or a couple if you are having fun.

3

Your course goes live

We build your course page and your professor page, with your name on both. Students around the world can find you, follow your course, and learn from you.

Can professors get paid? Yes.

Teaching your first course earns your chair as a Starvard professor. From there, professors can earn pay on paid projects, featured courses, and special teaching series as the university grows. The professors students love get the first offers, so a great first lesson is the best application there is.

Who fits: you can explain hard things simply, you are kind on camera, and you finish what you start. No degree required. Clarity is the credential.

Apply to teach

Four quick questions. We read every application and reply to the ones that fit. If you already have a teaching video anywhere online, include the link, it helps a lot.

The button opens your email app with the application ready to send to the Starvard team. Rather just talk first? Message Dave on Instagram and say you want to teach.

A note on accuracy: Much of what you read at Starvard was created with help from AI agents, working alongside people. We check what we can, but we cannot guarantee that everything here is true, current, or complete. If something really matters, your health, your money, a grade, a job, please verify it with a trusted source before you rely on it.
